Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club (aka S&A) combines rolling coastal links, strategic bunkers, and firm, fast greens for a true championship test. Founded in 1906 and hosting 2 Ryder Cups in 1933 and 1937, its natural dune setting, immaculate conditioning, welcoming clubhouse, and memorable holes create an exhilarating and classic English Golf Coast experience.
West Lancashire Golf Club (aka West Lancs) is a classic seaside links founded in 1873, offering natural dunes, firm fast fairways, and sweeping views across Liverpool Bay. Renowned for championship pedigree, strategic bunkering, and authentic out-and-back routing, it delivers a super traditional links experience minutes from Liverpool. This is a purists course that will challenge all your links skills.
Wallasey Golf Club is a historic championship links on the Wirral peninsula, birthplace of the Stableford scoring system. Firm, fast fairways weave through natural dunes with panoramic Irish Sea views. The Fab 5 trip package and availability
The Fab 5 Itinerary
For those who may be taking their first links trip, or first time to England, this is a perfect introductory experience.
- Typically groups of 4, 8, 12 or even 16
- You can choose whether to base yourselves in Liverpool or Southport
- Midweek golf. Land on Monday morning, play that day. Play 18 holes each day thru Friday. Leave for airport Saturday morning.
- Most convenient flight is into Manchester airport, less than an hour away from all courses.

Just to let you know, the 3 Open courses are now booked up for 2026, but the Fab 5 courses do have availability. 2027 is wide open for any of the links courses, but if you are interested in this Fall, then here are the dates that the trip is available:
