Ormskirk Golf Club, is a friendly private members club situated near the market town of Ormskirk, which is seven miles from the Southport coast with its many fine championship links courses.

A friendly welcome awaits all our visitors whom are treated as members for the day.

The course offers a real challenge to all levels of golfer, having been used for Open Regional Qualifying and County Matches

Course Details

Opened in the final year of the nineteenth century, golfers fell instantly in love with the course at Ormskirk Golf Club because of its secluded location in the heart of the beautiful Lancashire countryside, and the wonderful golfing experience it offered. Today, golfers are still attracted to this fine course, laid out on luscious, luxurious parkland just two miles from the quaint little town of Ormskirk.

It is a relatively flat, easy walking course with some extremely tight fairways so accuracy is absolutely essential in order for you to score well here. It spans just under 6500 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the eighteenth and is a fair test of golf all in all.

Visually beautiful and set in the heart of the West Lancashire countryside with only the odd farmhouse to be seen behind its numerous mature tree-lined fairways. It offers a stiff challenge to all levels of golfer.
