Course Details

Whilst at first appearance the course may look flat, it is a very challenging championship course, 6,900 yards from the member’s tees. However, as with all links courses, the wind makes it’s presence felt. The summer breeze can be your ally and the icy gale a ruthless adversary. All the holes require your utmost attention. The enormous clubhouse offers a respite from the elements and a place to soak up the history and traditions of the game.

Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake
Meols Drive, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4AL

Par: 72
Yards: 6452
Course Type: Royal

Royal Liverpool is a classic links course which requires carefully positioned tee shots. Should you stray, then deep, revetted bunkers wait for your ball. A standard sand wedge of 56 degrees might not have enough loft, so you would be well advised to bring a lob wedge - or stay out of the bunkers!
